MAHA 2022: MBI heads the Cleanliness Committee at the Perak Pavillion Site

The Ipoh City Council (MBI) was elected to head the Cleanliness Committee at the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism (MAHA) Exhibition 2022 programme at the Malaysia Agricultural Expo Park Serdang (MAEPS).

The selection was made by the Perak State MAHA 2022 Parent Committee for the MAHA programme which lasts for 11 days, from August 4 to 14.

A total of 20 members of MBI’s Parks & Landscape Department, led by Senior Assistant Agriculture Officer, Ahmad Marzuki Abdul Aziz, have been assigned to carry out cleaning work in the entire area of ​​the Perak Pavillion site from August 1 to 16.

MAHA 2022 is the largest and most prestigious agricultural exhibition featuring as many as 1,500 exhibition stalls with a potential sales value of over RM250 million.

A total of eight sectors are provided, among them agriculture and animal husbandry with 22 segments featuring their own attractions.

It is expected that 100,000 visitors will attend each day throughout the programme.
