J Global Academy held a free digital marketing course at Excelsior Hotel Ipoh last Saturday and Ipoh Echo was there to observe it. With up to 100 participants, the course aimed to introduce its participants to various forms of digital marketing and provide practical and real world marketing tactics and strategies. The course also offered excellent networking opportunities during the breaks, which were also sponsored by the academy.
This particular session was special in that it featured a higher than normal number of guest speakers, who shared their stories in order to motivate the participants. This included TikTok guru Irman Shah Azhar (irmanshahazhar on TikTok), who recounted how he was able to use viral marketing to sustain his business when the pandemic and the accompanying Movement Control Order (MCO) threatened to put him out of business.
In addition to illustrating how strong digital marketing can be, he also taught the participants how to set up their TikTok accounts in an optimal way. He showed off some features that those new to TikTok might not know about and he explained what TikTok liked and didn’t like, so that the participants could optimise their results.
Javendra Kumar, the founder of J Global Academy, then took over and he showed how building one’s social media such as through the use of TikTok, could be translated into sales. He provided real world ways to ensure a stable stream of content and other practical methods.
Aside from the guest speakers, the digital marketing course also had in-house speakers, who introduced various digital marketing tools to the participants. The course tackled its subjects in a realistic, real world way, rather than an idealistic, theoretical way. Such as placing heavy emphasis on cash flow management.
Due to the number of special guest speakers, J Global Academy was unable to fully cover all the topics that it had planned, and are therefore holding a replacement course at the following place and time:
