SMK Sri Puteri Enthusiastically Anticipate The 65th National Day
SMK Sri Puteri on Jalan Sungai Pari, held a celebration in anticipation of the 65th National Day.
After two years of no events being held due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, this time the school held a simple but lively celebration.
As early as 7.30 in the morning, the students and teachers gathered in the hall to follow the programme that had been prepared
As soon as it was inaugurated, the programme started with a speech on the theme of independence, delivered by the guest speaker Mr. Zaki Salleh who is a former journalist.
He discussed how the country has just passed the pandemic phase as an analogy to the students about the trying situation the old generation went through before and after independence.
He said, the confined atmosphere during the pandemic with many restrictions and regulations is a reflection of the state of the country during the Emergency Era for example.
Therefore, he reminded the students that all levels of the people are responsible for maintaining the peace, prosperity and well-being that is currently being enjoyed.
The event then continued with a multimedia presentation, a poetry performance and the singing of patriotic songs.
