A job search platform known as Perak Talent Application has been introduced by the Perak state government as an initiative to make it easier for residents of the state to find jobs.
Through the application, job seekers no longer need to submit a physical resume. Instead, they only need to submit a job application through the Perak Talent Application online, which can be accessed via mobile phone.
Director of Perakian Aspiration Centre (PASAK), Misbahul Munir Masduki said the application was launched at the Perak Sejahtera Career Carnival held at the Indera Mulia Stadium recently. The launch ceremony was completed by the Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad in conjunction with the Karnival Mesra Anak Muda (KAMU).
“The application searches for jobs according to demographic categories, industry, education and position level that are close to the distance of the user’s location.
“This application can be downloaded through Play Store, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
“This is in line with one of the six main agendas of Perak Sejahtera 2030 which is Data Driven Decision Making,” he said. He also said that a total of 3,814 job seekers had already registered to get their respective job matches at the Perak Sejahtera Career Carnival.
Out of that number, 256 candidates managed to get a job while 3,190 were shortlisted for the next interview session.
