Knowledge Sharing on Green Technology for Sustainable Cities
More than 300 campus members including invited guests attended the Green Technology Centre Week with a focus on sustainable cities and the Town Hall Programme at Ungku Omar Polytechnic (PUO) in Ipoh on Monday.
The officiating ceremony was completed by the Director of the Innovation and Research Centre from the Department of Polytechnic Education and Community College, Dr. Riam Chau Mai.
PUO, in a statement, informed that the programme was held to boost information sharing among educators, players and members of higher-education institutions.
This time, the Green Technology Centre Week featured two major programmes namely the Town Hall Programme and the International Conference on Research and Innovation in Sustainable Cities (ICRISC 2022).
“The theme of ICRICS 2022 highlights technological advancement in sustainable construction via IR 4.0 for a green future. The theme is chosen in line with the current issues and development of green technology.
“A total of 77 research articles and 18 types of innovations have been presented by academicians and researchers from various higher-education institutions in and out of the country.
The programme was hoped to help pave the way towards collaborations among educators, players and researchers in the field of sustainable cities besides boosting the quality of education in Malaysia.
