MBI Councillors Zone 23 Review The Road Congestion Problem in Bandar Seri Botani

The issue of the traffic situation in Bandar Seri Botani definitely needs a solution to be found so that it does not drag on as well as bringing convenience to the public.

Recently, the Head of MCA Gopeng Strategic Bureau, Dr. Lee Wai Yin, together with Ipoh City Councillor, Councilor Annuar Baharuddin went to the field to survey the situation

Traffic jams often occur during peak hours, particularly with many vehicles cutting in from the gas station towards Bandar Seri Botani. Gopeng Parliament’s MCA Coordinating Secretary, CK Liew, said this situation worsens the congestion.

“We have proposed to MBI members to build a concrete road divider that can divide vehicles into two traffic streams.

“This is so that drivers exiting the gas station can head towards Shen Jai School and make a U-turn there,” he said.

Meanwhile, Annuar informed that his party will organise a visit and survey with MBI engineers to further study this proposal.

It is hoped that with this, the problems of the local residents can be resolved in the near future.
