The Perak Box Office digital platform is expected to improve the tourism industry in the state by helping to highlight interesting activities and events to the public. It is a platform for the sale of unique tickets specifically for the state of Perak, in addition to helping players in the tourism industry modernise their respective marketing efforts.
According to the Chairman of the Housing, Local Government and Tourism Committee of Perak, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Bt. Dato’ Mohammed Radzi, L’Univers and Pouch Nation joined hands to develop the digital platform to make it easier for visitors to access interesting events taking place in Perak.
“It is also supported by us and the People of Remarkable Talents (PORT). This digital platform makes it easier for visitors to access ongoing events.
“It includes concerts, festivals, food festivals, music festivals, exhibitions and conventions, international boat shows, car shows and triathlon events.
“Platforms like Perak Box Office are not only useful for tourists to get the latest information about events but it can also function as a catalyst for the development of the state of Perak by generating an income of RM 70 million within five years,” she said in a press conference.
Also present were, Pouch Nation Chief Operating Officer, Gonçalo Vaz de Carvalho and L’Univers Chief Executive Officer, Shannon Lee.
In conjunction with the announcement, L’Univers also announced that they will bring creative art and cultural shows from around the world to Perak.
Starting with the launch of “The UK Bubble Show”, a magic show featuring multiple world record holder, Eran Backler.
Tourists will also be treated to a variety of entertaining shows in the last quarter of 2022, which will be available on the Perak Box Office platform soon.
Meanwhile, Gonçalo said, his party aims to highlight the various uniqueness of this state in the eyes of the world.
“Malaysia is an amazing country with many attractions. While exploring the state of Perak, we at Pouch Nation really appreciated its beauty and the variety of attractions available. However, Perak does not get the attention it deserves, and I am proud to be able to highlight the uniqueness of this state through our digital solutions. In addition to helping tourism industry players modernise their marketing to attract more people.
