The head of the delegation and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ergun Sensoy together with his Sales and Marketing Manager Mr Ceyhun Kan from Orakci Makina representing Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Council Turkey, paid a courtesy visit to The mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud this morning.
Orakci Makina Company of Turkey had previously supplied the city with state of the art garbage compactor trucks and had expressed interest in future collaborations between Ipoh and Turkey, particularly in the fields of tourism, investment and technology sharing.
The purpose of their visit while representing the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Council of Turkey, was to express their interest in establishing official ties with the Ipoh City Council and to form “Cities of Friendship”.
“We hope this collaboration will bring into reality; our fervent desire for Ipoh to achieve its goal of becoming a smart and prosperous city.
