A total of 13 entrepreneurs received the United Entrepreneurs Awards (UEA) based on their record of excellence in supporting the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The prestigious award was presented by DYAM Tuanku Raja DiHilir Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah on the night of the Nostalgic Legends Charity Event (MANL) which took place at the Royal Perak Golf Club (RPGC) recently.
Advisor of the Nostalgis Legends Charity Council (MANL), YM Dr Raja Putra Shah said the quality of entrepreneurship is very important in guaranteeing the success of an entrepreneur. The quality of entrepreneurship can be measured based on personality factors and entrepreneurial orientation.
“This award, apart from appreciation, is also to help in creating a holistic and conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem to support the inclusive, balanced and sustainable national entrepreneurship development agenda.
“It can also be a source of inspiration for new entrepreneurs, so that there will always be new ideas and innovations which consistently improve product or service development.
“The recipients of this award consist of local entrepreneurs who have been selected based on their performance and excellence. In the future, we will welcome the participation of entrepreneurs from abroad,” he said when interviewed after the MANL Event which featured four legendary artists from the country.
The UEA recipients are:
- Most Influential Young Entrepreneur 2022, Md Bipul Nazir (H Healthcare Berhad).
- Excellent Achievement in Information Technology 2022, Aiman Loh (SHT Engineering Sdn. Bhd).
- Best Creative Events Solutions 2022, Chris Lo (Creative Events Solution).
- Excellent Achievement in Training & Services 2022, Dato’ Dr. Stanley Chew, representing (Semenyih Eco Venture Village).
- Excellent Achievement in Cross-Border E-commerce Health & Reverse Aging Products 2022, Sarah Chin Chew Wooi (Amazingly IND Sdn. Bhd).
- Excellent Achievement in Lift and Elevator Industry 2022, Mohd. Alwi Misman (East Asia Elevator Sdn. Bhd).
- Corporate Legal Advisor of the Year 2022, Lai Chee Hoe (Messrs Chee Hoe & Associates).
- Best Women Inspiring Leadership 2022, YM Tengku Khairul Adena Tengku Abdullah (MEEDC Malaysia).
- Excellent Achievement in Medical Gas Industry 2022, Ir. Lee Wan Han (PTL Technology Sdn. Bhd).
- Best Innovative Nutrition 2022, Dexter Au Tugiono (Dex Nutritions Sdn. Bhd).
- Excellent Technology Innovation 2022, Muhammad Ohidul Islam Dr Nurul Islam (VOM Media (M) Sdn. Bhd).
- Excellent Legal Service Award 2022, Esther Ong, Tengku Saiful & Sree (ETS & Co.).
- Excellent Achievement in Fashion Garment Industry 2022, Jimmy Leong Chee Chong (NYCE Apparel Enterprise Sdn. Bhd).
The historic and inaugural night was organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Employees Association (Karyawan) and Nerv Global Sdn Bhd and supported by SME Perak.
The main objective of organising MANL is to raise funds to help artists in the country who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
