Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad urged the people to unite and work together to restore the economy of Perak in order to create more job opportunities for the people.
The urging was read through the text of his speech delivered by the Chairman of the Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee, YB Loh Sze Yee in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of the Perak Trade Expo 2022 (EPP2022) which took place at the Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh here yesterday.
According to Saarani, it is possible that the global economy will enter a recession and it is a must for all businesses to make early preparations to survive those difficult times.
“In order to face the big challenges later, I hope that all levels of society in the state of Perak, especially the traders, will be able to cooperate with the state government’s policies so that the government and the people can work hand in hand to advance the state’s economy.
“The Perak State Government will do its best to ensure that every initiative and plan that is put together will eventually be able to meet the hopes and aspirations of the people regardless of race, religion or ideology.
“The existence of many skill training institutions is the strength of the state of Perak in producing a highly skilled workforce. In fact, the government can take advantage of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Programme (TVET) to a higher level and be able to bring in a lot of human capital to the state of Perak,” he said.
