The Ipoh City Council has approved the proposed development enveloping a land space of approximately 1.9 acres in the Tasik Cermin Eco-Tourism area to Syarikat Sahabat Selamanya Sdn Bhd, a company under Syarikat Kin Loong Valley Sdn Bhd (Chang Jiang White Coffee) for the purpose of building cafes and parks.
The development that has been implemented consists of a main kitchen building, a restaurant building (dining area) as well as facilities such as toilets and prayer rooms. The construction of the park will be carried out in the future.
Chang Jiang White Coffee was the first company to produce “White Coffee” products in the 70s in a small coffee shop. Today, Chang Jiang is the main producer and manufacturer of Coffee and Tea Powder within the Perak State market. The company also owns several cafes with different concepts such as “Rumah Style Cafe” in Jalan Windsor, “Kopitiam Style Café” in Casuarina Building, “Guangdong Garden Style Café” in People’s Park and now “Limestone Valley Style Cafe” in Tasik Cermin.
Kin Loong Valley is a cafe located in the limestone quarry area which is synonymous with minerals for the state of Perak. The uniqueness of this limestone area will make this cafe a destination spot in Perak for tourists and locals alike.
Visitors will also be able to dine whilst enjoying the beauty and tranquillity of the Tasik Cermin area.
Chang Jiang intends to promote this place throughout Malaysia and the world. This place is expected to be a must-visit location for tourists when travelling to the State of Perak, especially Ipoh.
