KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital Launches Information Centre in Cameron Highlands

In an effort to bridge the gap for quality healthcare services, KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital has launched an information centre that serves as a hub for patients from Cameron Highlands.

Regional Chief Executive Officer (North) of KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Roslan Ahmad said his party found that there was a significant market gap in Cameron Highlands based on the increasing trend of patients attending KPJ Ipoh for treatment.

“We understand the constraints they go through to get treatment at KPJ Ipoh, and we hope that this information centre will be able to help and accommodate the local community.

“We provide better access by focusing on quality healthcare. We hope that this service can benefit the health of the community through holistic care and treatment in line with KPJ’s slogan of ‘Care for Life’.

“This information centre serves to provide assistance to local patients, including providing coordination services for medical appointments and health check-ups in addition to arranging patient travel arrangements, including accommodations,” he told the media after the Information Centre Launch Ceremony at 23-LG, Jalan Palas Horizon, 39100, Kea Farm, Cameron Highlands, recently.

Meanwhile, Cameron Highlands District Council Secretary Mazlan Mohamed Isa said his side welcomed the efforts of KPJ Ipoh and KPJ Healthcare in providing quality healthcare services.

“We hope for more collaborations and initiatives like this in an effort to improve the quality of healthcare for our community in the future.

“It is understood that this information centre provides the latest information on the treatments offered by KPJ Ipoh to make it easier for patients to receive healthcare faster and save time,” he said.

This information centre operates every Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
