The First Session of the First Year of the Perak State Assembly (DUN Session) will take place this Monday, said the Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Dato’ Abdul Khalid.
It will then be followed by the Second Meeting of the First Year of the Perak State Assembly which will be held from Tuesday to next Thursday, which is for seven days.
“At the First Meeting, the First Year of the Fifteenth State Assembly, Perak Darul Ridzuan, the election of the Speaker, the election of the Deputy Speaker and the swearing in of the State Assembly members will take place.
“While at the Second Meeting, the Official Opening Ceremony will take place.
“The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah agreed to attend the ceremony and will reveal the Royal Decree,” he said at a press conference last Friday.
He said, there are several motions that will be presented at the Second Meeting.
“In addition, there are two Government Bills that will be brought, namely the Supply Enactment 2023 and the Perak Darul Ridzuan Government Constitution Enactment (Part One) (Amendment) 2022,” he said again.
