In light of the instructions of the YAB Prime Minister of Malaysia to cancel the 2023 New Year Celebration at the national level, as well as considering the flood situation and hardship experienced by the people at this time, the New Year Celebration/Fireworks Show at the Indera Mulia Stadium, Ipoh scheduled for 31 December 2022 is cancelled.
However, the much hyped “Starvendors Programme” in the form of bazaar and stage performances from 30 December 2022 to 1 January 2023 will continue to cheer up the City of Ipoh to usher in the New Year and the Launch of Visit Ipoh Year 2023.
