The Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) held a joint collaboration with Perak Toong Onn Wooi Koon and organised a Community Health Screening last Sunday, held at the PCSH New Wing. This initiative was to mark the hospital’s early initiatives in 2023 to increase awareness on health.
One of the key highlights of the campaign was a Health Talk by Dr Kaw Han Chung on “Hypertension & Diabetes”. Besides offering Blood Tests at a special rate with Specialist review, PCSH also conducted various other free health screenings as well as provided refreshments to all participants.
Free Mammogram and HPV DNA tests were also offered, which were made possible with the collaboration of LPPKN.
Mr Nicholas, CEO of PCSH said “the health screening was the hospital’s way of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility in the community. Besides creating health awareness, we also want to contribute by improving their lifestyle.”
