MBI won the 2022 Integrity, Governance and Anti-corruption Award

The Ipoh City Council’s (MBI) first participation in the Integrity, Governance and Anti-Corruption Awards Ceremony (AIGA 2022) took place at the Auditorium Hall, Institute of Integrity Malaysia (IIM), yesterday.
The Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md. Daud said that the victory really gave MBI the motivation to continue serving with dedication and integrity.
“This recognition, which was won for the first time, makes us proud and I hope it will result in an injection of enthusiasm to continue to provide the best service to the citizens of Ipoh, based on good governance.
“Congratulations to all MBI people who have carried out their trust and responsibility well.
“Thank you also to the IIM organisers, for choosing MBI to win this award,” he said.
The bronze award was in the form of a plaque, and was presented by IIM Board Member, Dato’ Sri Akhbar Abdul Sata @ Satar.
The awarding ceremony was also attended by the City Secretary, Ahmad Munir Ishak and the secretary from the Integrity Unit of the Ipoh City Council.
The award involved more than 100 departments and agencies throughout Malaysia. The evaluation of the award was conducted in October and November 2022 virtually.
