The Talent Perak job search application has provided benefits with a total of 4,536 job seekers already having used the platform.
The figure is based on the applications from the users before being distributed to relevant employers for screening and interview sessions.
The Talent Perak application was launched on 20 September last year in the Google Play Store.
It was fully developed by Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak (PASAK), which is a human resource development agency run by the state government.
PASAK is a continuation of the Amanjaya Career Center (PeKA) which was established in 2011.
The General Manager of PASAK, Mohamad Fikri Mohd Junit said, a total of 122 companies have offered job opportunities through the application.
According to him, the sectors involved are in the fields of services, manufacturing, construction and agriculture found in the state of Perak.
“This application is a ‘one stop centre’ that offers job opportunities at your fingertips.
“The Talent Perak application also offers a ‘work near me’ function where users can see a list of employers and companies offering positions near the job seekers’ respective locations.
“The search for vacant positions is focused on specific areas according to the user’s district or city,” he said.
Users can also browse the company’s brief background and easily receive in-app notifications for interview sessions.
Mohamad Fikri added, this function makes it easier for users to interactively browse information related to their job searches.
In addition, users can also get the latest information regarding the list of programmes, soft skills training and skills courses organised by PASAK on this application.
