Michelle Yeoh Nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards

Ipoh’s Michelle Yeoh has been nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her role in the film Everything Everywhere All At Once.

With this, she has become not only the first Malaysian to be nominated for Best Actress, but the first Asian.

The movie Everything Everywhere All At Once, itself, tops the Oscar with 11 nominations, including nominations for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Director.
