The urban agriculture programme is an important initiative to help households reduce the cost of living while enjoying healthy and fresh crops.
This farming concept is also very simple and the results can also be harvested in a relatively short period of time.
The monitoring visit of the Urban Agriculture Project was conducted by the Kuala Kangsar District Agriculture Department to Madrasah Idrisiah Bukit Chandan (a place of study and religious activities) yesterday.
Kuala Kangsar District Agriculture Officer, Muhammad Nazri Hassan led this visit to see the efforts of the school, especially the teachers who made this programme a success.
“It is hoped that this effort will be successful and can be a source of additional income for the Madrasah and the local community,” he said.
