The Perak branch of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Seri Iskandar College of Creative Arts Studies (KPSK) will be organising the Neo 2023 Adventure (Graphic Exploration) exhibition at Pulau Misa tomorrow.
Pulau Misa is a Malay cultural heritage village that was appointed as one of the tourist spots by the Central Perak District Council.
The head of the project, Wan Nurul Izzati Wan Muhammad Zulkifli said, this programme is a final assessment and exhibition for 96 students of the Graphic and Digital Design Department.
“This project is an initiative that encourages students to use the concept of Malay, Perak, tourism and culture as teaching material with the theme of Pulau Misa.
“It got the cooperation of Pulau Misa management by choosing Saturday because of the high number of visitors and tourists.
“Through the graphic design innovation that has been implemented through subject assignments, student designs will be exhibited and highlighted for this joint venture,” he said.
Wan Nurul Izzati, who is also a lecturer in Graphic Design and Digital Media, explained that Pulau Misa was selected to bring the UiTM brand closer to the community in the Central Perak district.
“Students will also be friendly with visitors and tourists while showing the results of the work,” he said.
