The programme which started as early as 8 am is one of the initiatives of the local authority (PBT) to build camaraderie together with the local community.

MPT in its statement today said that it also applies pollution prevention through a ‘nature-based’ solution approach.

In addition, according to him, preservation of the environment should be highlighted to the public, especially young people.

“MPT hopes that such a programme can be appreciated and understood by the younger generation about the importance of the environment, the involvement of school students is also expected.

“Including the industry to participate in maintaining cleanliness for the sake of common well-being,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

He added that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and not left entirely to one party.

“Cleanliness is a shared responsibility and cannot be left entirely to MPT.
