The Malaysian Association of Travel and Travel Agents Fair (MATTA Fair) Perak is back this year with a bigger event, involving more than 110 booths specifically for holiday makers at the Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC) next week.
Chairman of MATTA Perak Chapter, Chong Yu Ken said the much-anticipated two-day fair for leisure or business, to promote both domestic and foreign travel, will be held on February 25 and 26 from 10am to 9pm.
“This year we are excited to feature more than 35 tourism industry players in the country. Visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to domestic travel destinations that range from nature activities to culture, heritage and wildlife”
“There are also ‘not to be missed’ deals to many long-haul destinations such as Europe, Japan and Vietnam. The public can browse and follow the progress of MATTA Fair Perak through the official Facebook page which is facebook.com/mattaperak to get the latest information,” he said.
“Umrah operators will also be setting up booths during the fair.”
Spend a minimum of RM300 at the fair and be entitled to lucky draws and win attractive prizes.
“The prizes include travel vouchers, return air tickets, hotel vouchers and more,” he said, adding that the association was targeting about RM23mil in sales turnover.
“We are also pleased to announce that the fair, which is our 30th edition, is partnered with tourism players from Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Pahang, Tourism Melaka, Langkawi Development Authority (Lada) and Zhangzhou Tourism Board,”.
