TAPAH: Two Myanmar nationals were injured in a landslide at Jalan Temoh Batu 3 yesterday.
A spokesperson from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak said the station received a call at 6.45pm yesterday informing them about the incident before members rushed to the scene.
“There was a landslide near the workers’ house, causing a tree to fall and hit a house, with two victims who were trapped under the rubble of the house.
“The two male Myanmarese victims were successfully brought out by firemen and only suffered leg injuries,” he said in a statement.
He said members acted to move the debris of the house that hit the victims and then moved the victims to a safe place.
“The victims were then handed over to the ambulance for further action and the entire operation ended at 7.53pm,” he said.
