Ipoh will host National Landscape Day 2023 which will be celebrated from March 10 to 12 at Laman Sejahtera, Taman DR Seenivasagam.
According to the mayor of Ipoh, Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud, the opening ceremony will be completed by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on March 11 at 9 am.
“Various interesting events will be held throughout the three days such as landscape exhibitions, landscape forums, flower demonstrations, buskers, cultural activities and many more.
“Members of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) and the public are welcome to attend to enliven the celebration,” he said.
He said this while chairing the February 2023 Council Plenary Meeting at the MBI Meeting Hall, on Wednesday.
Previously, National Landscape Day 2022 (HLN2020) was celebrated at Taman Bandar Ekoflora, Johor Bahru with the theme ’25 Years of the Most Beautiful Park Nation’.
