For the first time Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) students, B Roshan from the Diploma Programme in Mechanical Engineering (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), Department of Mechanical Engineering, received the Best Student Award 2022 in conjunction with the Malaysian Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA) 22nd Annual Dinner at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre last Friday.
PUO lecturer, Azmi Naroh also received the Best Student Mentor Award 2022.
PUO through a statement said, the institution is very pleased with this award and will remain committed to producing quality Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) graduates who are able to contribute to the country’s economic development.
The event brought together at least 1,000 industry players, TVET educational institutions and stakeholders.
MACRA is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) made up of industry players and individuals in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration in Malaysia.
