3,000 join the 59th Ipoh Car Free Day

IPOH: A total of 3,000 people attended the Ipoh Car Free Day (ICFD) monthly event which took place at Persiaran Bandaraya, Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil today.
The theme chosen for this month is Our World, Our Peaceful Future in conjunction with World Thinking Day.
The Breakfast Fun Run & Walk involving a total of 300 participants is one of the most popular events.
Gema Perak Association also held a ‘whiteboard and sticky note’ event. It encourages visitors to contribute ideas for creating a cleaner, greener and smarter lifestyle in the community.
MBI’s Corporate Department also carried out a customer satisfaction survey of the Ipoh City Council through QR Code scanning. This program is an initiative to get suggestions and improvements to MBI services.
SOCSO also held activities to meet customers by introducing Self-Employment Schemes and Housewives Schemes.
The ICFD program was inaugurated by the City Secretary representing the Mayor of Ipoh, Ahmad Munir Ishak.
