IPOH: Tourism Perak signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) together with Perak Football Club (Perak FC) yesterday.

The document signing ceremony was witnessed by the Chairman of the state Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee, Loh Sze Yee who was present to launch MATTA Fair Perak 2023 at the Ipoh International Convention Center (IICC) here yesterday.
Also present were The Mayor of Ipoh, Datuk Rumaizi Baharin and the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak, Nurmalis Musa.
The partnership that was signed is one of the Perak state government’s initiatives through Tourism Perak to constantly strive to intensify and reinvigorate the tourism sector which has been severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
The two-year collaboration involved a network of promotion and marketing platforms on both sides including participation in promoting tourism activities and the development of Perak state football.
Like participating in the Jom Gegor Ipoh Carnival, New Year’s Celebration 2024, promotion on social media platforms, print and digital mediums and so on towards promoting the year of Visiting Perak 2024.
In addition, the state government through Tourism Perak has always focused on organizing events with the concept of sport tourism, edu and eco tourism, gastronomy and heritage in promoting and increasing the number of visitors to the state.
The collaboration between Tourism Perak and Perak FC is expected to bring results and impact to the state of Perak
