Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Perak Branch’s Executive Committee Members had a courtesy visit to YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani Bin Mohamad, Menteri Besar of Perak Darul Ridzuan. The purpose of the visit was to increase the collaboration activities between MICCI Perak Branch and the State government.
Mr. Kumaresan Lingam, Assistant Director, Sectorial I of State Economic Planning Unit was present for the visit. The visit was led by the current Perak Branch Chairman, Mr. Jean-Francois Chavériat, Managing Director of the Kurz Production (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
Branch Officer present were Immediate-Past Chairman, Dato’ Lim Si Boon, Executive Chairman of Bonanza Venture Holdings Sdn Bhd; Vice-Chairman I, Mr. Nicholas Goh, Chief Operating Officer of Quest International University; Vice-Chairman II, Mr. Har Wai Ming, Administration Director, Plantation of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad and Treasurer, Ms. Wee Siao Tieng, Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT.
Executive Committees present were Ms. Jacqueline Foo Sueh Chuan, Executive Chairperson of Foo Nyit Tse & Brother Sdn Bhd group of companies; Mr. Eugene Chow Jan Liang, Executive Director, Business Process Solutions of Deloitte Business Advisory Sdn Bhd and Ms Hema Loshini, Manager of Camfil Malaysia Sdn Bhd;Mr. Shaun Edward Cheah, Executive Director of MICCI, Ms. Grace Low, Head of MARCOM, Ms. Harpreet Kaur, General Manager of mICCI, and Ms. Shamaine Chong, Branch Manager of MICCI Perak were present for the visit.
MICCI Perak has been working closely with the State government since their presence in Perak back in 2011. They aim to assist their members on various issues of a complex nature and have actually achieved many milestones over the years. The MICCI Perak members are from diverse sectors such as manufacturing, retailing, servicing, banking, accounting and so forth. They draw strength from the wide range of mature and competitive corporations within their membership.
