IPOH – A total of 200 students from low-income families received donations at the ‘Back To School’ programme at the Kampung Cempaka Sari Community Hall last Sunday.
It is a programme organised by Puncak Emas Infra Sdn Bhd (PESB) together with the East Ipoh Parliament Service Centre.
The General Manager of Puncak Emas Infra, Ir Saiful Azzuan Aznam said these recipients are children who live in the East Ipoh Parliamentary constituency.
He said, this programme is one of their corporate social responsibility activities aimed at easing the burden of those in need.
“This community programme is also to strengthen the relationship between PEISB and the public.
“Among the school equipment provided are a pair of shoes, a set of school clothes and also a school bag,” he said.
This programme was officiated by Ipoh East Member of Parliament, Howard Lee Chuan How,
The recipients who attended thanked PEISB for the donation that had been given.
In addition, with the reopening date of the school approaching, it will really reduce the burden on the parents.
