TELUK INTAN: Three houses caught fire in Jalan Woo Saik Hong, Pasir Bedamar, here early this morning.
According to Perak Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia (JBPM) Operations Chief, Mohd Ismail Mohd Yunus, he received a call regarding the incident at 2.21 am.
He also said that members of the Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) with the help of the Hutan Melintang BBP and Teluk Intan Voluntary Fire Brigade (PBS) rushed to the location.
“The fire involved three houses. The first class C two-storey house with an area of 20×60 was destroyed by fire 90 per cent.
“The second two-storey class B house with an area of 20×90 burned six per cent while another with an area of 20×70 burned two per cent,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
He said that the fire did not involve any victims.
The operation ended completely at 3.43 am.
