IPOH: The Perak Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) will collaborate with the Ipoh City Council (MBI) to organize the Rahmah Ramadan Bazaar (BRR) at People’s Park.
Perak Menteri Besar and Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said, among other things, the initiative is to allow the public to enjoy quality meals at a reasonable price.
“This is an initiative for the whole community to enjoy quality iftar dishes at reasonable prices.
“It is estimated that a total of 20 traders will be involved in selling various Rahmah Menus at the bazaar,” he said.
He said this to reporters after inaugurating the National Consumer Day 2023 at the Perak State level, which was themed “Empowered Consumers, a Prosperous Nation” at Lotus’s Bercham.
In the meantime, he said, until now a total of 244 premises in Perak offer Rahmah Menu.
“Congratulations and well done to all traders who have responded to the government’s call to help the people enjoy quality food at reasonable prices.
“May this noble endeavour always be facilitated for the benefit of the people,” he said.
Earlier, at the ceremony, he also presented school user kits to 50 recipients.
