Ipoh: A man was injured when the bus he was driving got involved in an accident with a trailer near Taman Sri Desa, Gunung Lang, this morning.
According to Perak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Chief, Senior Fire Officer II Ridzuan Chik, the 47-year-old victim, who was driving the bus, was trapped on the driver’s side.
He further said that his party received a call regarding the incident at 6.53am before members of the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the location.
“The fire brigade arrived later and removed the victim using special equipment, the victim was handed over to the Malaysian Ministry of Health (KKM) for follow-up action,” he told reporters.
The operation ended completely at 7.48 am.
