MANJUNG – The Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) recorded another success of its own when it received a 3 Star Gold Award at the ICC/ KIK Malaysia Convention 2022 in Kuala Lumpur recently.
It is through the temporary daily hawker permit application project which is an innovation to facilitate small traders in Manjung.
Even more proud when MPM became the only local authority in the state of Perak to receive this highest level of recognition.
The Fast group consisting of seven MPM members presented the impact of the application that successfully met the competition criteria.
The project was evaluated with 23 scoring criteria breakdowns by a jury panel consisting of those experienced in the field of international innovation.
The 3 Star Gold recognition is the highest and by merit qualifies the Fast Group for the international level which will take place in Beijing, China later this October.
The ICC/ KIK Malaysia 2022 convention is organized by QKM Consult which has been trusted by the Malaysian Productivity Corporation involving 42 groups from the public and private sectors.
Meanwhile, the head of the Fast group, Mohamd Sharil Salihan, said the featured application was user-friendly.
“Through this application, approval also immediately makes the hawker’s business method easier and accepted by the group of traders.
“We are also proud when the ideas and innovations developed by the MPM staff get recognition,” he said.
