TAPAH: Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) Perak celebrated 35 orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Darul Aitam Temoh by taking them to choose raya clothes.
The donation is SKM’s effort to bring cheer to them in conjunction with celebrating Hari Raya later.
The chairman of the Women’s Development Committee, Family, Social Welfare Entrepreneur Development and State Cooperatives, Salbiah Mohamed was also present at the program.
“Congratulations to SKM Perak for carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards the community.
“This also illustrates how SKM participates in the context of making the people happy,” she said in a statement here.
Meanwhile, Salbiah said, there are several other needs that will also be assisted from her office to the orphanage.
“It is my commitment to continue helping the orphanage so that the residents get their needs met.
” The government will continue to help and protect this trust,” she said
