KUALA LUMPUR:19 Memorandum of Understanding(s) (MoU) between Malaysian and Chinese companies with investment totalling more than RM170 Billion were signed.
This was the result of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Malaysian delegation’s visit to the People’s Republic of China.
This was announced by Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
“Subsequent to the discussions, meetings, and visits by our YAB Prime Minister, we concluded 19 MoU between Malaysian and China companies with investment totalling more than RM170 Billion.
“This is a big amount which will have a tremendous impact to the Malaysia-China relationship,” he said in a statement through his Facebook today.
He said that we, hope there will be more opportunities created for Malaysia and China in many more of sectors of industry.
“Thank you to all who have prayed and wished us well and given us the trust and mandate for us to keep on making Malaysia proud in the global arena,” .
