IPOH: The Free Box Coconut Milk Distribution Program was organized by M&S Food Industries Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat to entrepreneurs recently.
The Chairman of Women Development, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Salbiah Mohamed attended the program.
Also present were the Director of the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP), heads of departments and representatives of various other agencies.
Salbiah said that the gift of coconut milk weighing almost 5 kilograms per entrepreneur was specifically given to 1,000 hawkers, small traders and entrepreneurs in Perak who use coconut milk as a raw material to help them reduce the cost of manufacturing products in addition to introducing the M&S boxed coconut milk brand as a company product originating from Perak.
“This company has been in existence for the past 30 years and has exported their products to various countries.
“This kind of program will be continued by the state government in collaboration with other companies to continue helping more Perak entrepreneurs,” she said
