Rallying for Rescue: Police Seek Public’s Aid in Locating Missing Teenage Girls

IPOH: The police are asking for the public’s help in locating a teenage girl who was reported missing from her home in Jalan Pasir Puteh, here on April 11.

Ipoh District Police Chief ACP Yahaya Hassan said Gayathri, 17, whose address is No 611, Jalan Pasir Puteh Ipoh, was last seen by her family on April 8 at her home.

It is understood that the teenage girl has lived with her adoptive family since childhood.

“It is said that she lives with her adoptive family in the house, her adoptive father informed her on April 8 that his daughter was no longer at home.

“She has just finished her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), it is also understood that there are no problems at home,” he told reporters on Thursday.

Gayathri is plump and has a dark complexion.

Also included is a picture of the teenager  for the public to help track her down.
