PARIT BUNTAR: The disappearance of a disabled man (OKU) for the past two days was answered when his body was found in a drain yesterday afternoon.
The victim’s body was found lying in a drain near Taman Kerian Permai here.
The identity of the victim was later confirmed as a Malay man in his 20s who was reported missing two days ago.
The body was taken to the forensic department of Parit Buntar Hospital for an autopsy.
Previously, the missing victim had been reported by his family who made a report at the Parit Buntar Police Station.
Kerian District Police Chief, Superintendent Juna Yusoff confirmed the discovery of the victim’s body and further investigation will be carried out to find out the cause of the incident.
