TAIPING: A total of 157 unused electrical items of various types were successfully collected by the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) for recycling at Medan Selera Kamunting.
This initiative aims to make residents aware of the importance of taking care of the environment and managing electrical waste in the right way.
Collected items included things such as laptops, radios, mobile phones, tablets and television decoders.
The collection of these items has also contributed a total income of RM239 to the residents who sold them.
