IPOH: There is a 12 kilometre (km) road congestion from the Menora Tunnel to Kuala Kangsar on the North South Highway (PLUS) due to an accident.
The incident that happened at 4.22pm at Kilometre 256 North South Highway involved a bus and seven cars.
As a result of the accident, the road in both directions was blocked causing traffic to stop for 7km.
According to the PLUS Facebook page, the rescue work and removal of the vehicles involved was completed at 6.32pm and all routes were opened.
“The latest status of the incident has been completed and all lanes have been opened. Traffic is still slow. Drive carefully.
“Traffic is still congested for 12km. Please plan your journey,” said the statement.
