IPOH- Pantai Hospital Ipoh (PHI) has held a roadshow for two days to foster community awareness on the importance of prioritising health.
The programme which specialises in presenting health awareness by medical experts and services is jointly organised by Anlene Malaysia in conjunction with the celebration of Mother’s Day.
The event was attended by more than 500 people, and took place at AEON Big, Falim on 13 and 14 May 2023.
Various health screening activities were carried out including, assessment of daily life activities, blood pressure check, blood glucose check, body composition analysis as well as advice from the dietician and ear check.
At the same time, several other health screenings were also carried out by Anlene Malaysia, including ultrasound bone scans, muscle grip tests and free personal consultations.
According to PHI’s statement, the programme received an encouraging response from the multiracial community.
“People are now more concerned and understand how important health care is as a culture of life.
“This programme gives exposure and benefits and lets them know the level of health and early preventive measures,” said the statement.
