IPOH: In conjunction with the City of Ipoh’s 35th anniversary on June 10, 2023, the Ipoh City Council (MBI) will organise the Nusantara Cultural Festival @ Ipoh 2023 & Classic Car Exhibition at Indera Mulia Stadium, Ipoh.
The Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ MD Daud, stated that the programme, which will take place from June 8 to 12, 2023, will feature various artistic and cultural activities, including performances by the Nanning City, China, and Medan City, Indonesia, as well as participation from local authorities such as the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Seremban City Council, and Historical Melaka City Council.
“This programme aims to enliven Visit Ipoh Year 2023 through artistic and cultural activities. There will also be participation from the Kumpulan Gerakan Seni Alam, Ipoh, and Kumpulan Jas Dhol Bangla, Ipoh.
“The Classic Car Exhibition will be held on June 10, 2023, featuring 20 international classic car brands. The exhibition is expected to attract antique car enthusiasts from all over Malaysia.
“In addition, it will be enlivened with amusement park games for children, including carousels, haunted houses, and a petting zoo.
“The public will also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food menus from Rohaizad Setia Trading Sdn. Bhd. starting from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM,” said the Mayor.
According to him, this programme will be an annual event to celebrate the anniversary of Ipoh City.
At the same time, on June 12, 2023, the State Government Customer Appreciation Day will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Indera Mulia Stadium, Ipoh.
