IPOH:Proactive steps have been taken to combat the spread of dengue in the locality in Ulu Kinta, particularly in Kampung Tersusun Batu 5, Tambun.
Thanks to efforts involving Pusat Khidmat Rakyat for Members of the Hulu Kinta State Legislative Assembly, several areas have been identified.
Also participating was Ipoh City Councilor Zone 2, Nor Hayati Nasution along with Kinta District Health Office staff.
Visits were also conducted in Pakatan Jaya, at illegal construction sites and areas where there are many piles of construction materials and garbage.
This situation not only disturbs the tranquility of the neighbors, but the location also becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
At the same time, complaints about flash floods and blocked drains were also received which received the attention of the Pusat Khidmat Rakyat of the Hulu Kinta State Legislative Assembly.
Among the area are Jalan Dewan and path of Surau Kampung Tersusun Batu 6, Tambun.
Dengue prevention efforts will be done so that this epidemic can be dealt with seriously.
