In line with Father’s Day 2023, Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) organised a free health screening at AEON Klebang yesterday. More than 350 participants registered for the health screening which included blood pressure, random blood sugar, prostate cancer test, smokerlyzer test, hepatitis B and C, faecal occult blood test, ear screening, shoulder point massage, body fat assessment, fitness test, hand grip strength test, vision test, power checking, dietetic counselling and consultation by a Medical Officer. The highlight of the event was the free hair cut by Nathan Road Hair Studio from 10.30am till 2.00pm.
Mr. Nicholas Chan, Chief Executive Officer of PCSH thanked all collaborative partners, namely AEON Mall Klebang, the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), Nathan Road Hair Studio, EarMed, Melilea and Lee Eye Centre Sdn Bhd for their contributions to the event.He added that “Fathers are often the main caregivers and are vital in supporting the well-being of their children. The free health screenings conducted are a tribute to all fathers, as reflected in our theme: “Spread Love, Gift Health to Your Loved Ones”. We believe this event has increased greater awareness on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and as a reminder on the need of going for regular medical check-ups to maintain good health.
