IPOH: The Manjoi State Assembly Member Service Center delivered assistance to the residents of Taman Klebang Jaya who were affected by the recent storm disaster.
Manjoi assemblyman, Hafez Sabri said there were about 40 houses damaged by the strong winds that hit the area.
He also explained that he had also attended the Kinta District Disaster Management Meeting to find a way to help the people who were affected by the calamity.
“I will always be with the community in any situation when the community is afflicted with misfortune and hardship.
“Yesterday from morning to evening I focused on going down to all the houses to meet and give moral support and deliver a little bit of help.
“In addition, I attended the Kinta District Disaster Management Meeting together with all the government agencies involved so that we can find a way to help the communities affected by this calamity, and the decision made,)will be given to all the communities concerned,” he told reporters here today.
He also hoped that the people in the areas affected by the disaster would be given perseverance and patience in facing the test.
