IPOH: Police will implement road closures and diversions around Sultan Azlan Shah Roundabout (Amanjaya Roundabout), Meru, Ipoh this Sunday starting at 7am.
Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Yahaya Hassan said, it is to pave the way for organising the launch ceremony of National Month and the Flying of the Jalur Gemilang in 2023.
“The roads involved in the closure and diversions are Lebuh Meru Raya, Persiaran Meru Raya 1, Persiaran Meru Raya 2, Persiaran Meru Raya 3, Persiaran Meru Raya 4, Jalan Meru Bestari and Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah (Bulatan Aman Jaya).
“In connection with that, road users, especially Ipoh residents, are advised to plan their journeys and choose alternative routes to avoid being caught in traffic jams during road closures and diversions,” he said.
