8 Perak entrepreneurs were selected for Malaysia Fest 2023 in Singapore

SINGAPORE: A total of eight Perak entrepreneurs were selected to represent the State of Perak in conjunction with Malaysia Fest 2023 to participate in exhibitions and sales at the Singapore Expo, Changi.

The Perak State government’s participation in this program is the result of collaboration between State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN), Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP) and Perak Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA).

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Chang Foon Hin officiated Malaysia Fest 2023 yesterday which will end tomorrow.

The Chairman of the Perak State Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Development Committee, Salbiah Mohamed was also present to inaugurate a new product produced by Niase, Ibu Tom’s tomyam paste which is one of the focus products at the expo this time.

“The attendance of visitors on the first day was very encouraging, where on average the products of Perak entrepreneurs received a very good response from Singaporeans.

“Hopefully Perak’s local products will continue to progress and penetrate the international market,” said Salbiah.
