Boy goes missing at Teluk Senangin

LUMUT: A 10-year-old boy is believed to have gone missing after having fun with his family members at the beach of Teluk Senangin, here this afternoon.

Assistant Director of the Operations Division of the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said he received an emergency call regarding the incident at 3.19pm.

He also said that members of the Pantai Remis Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were rushed to the location.

“Firefighters received information from the public saying that there is a 10-year-old boy missing on the beach while he was having fun with his family members.

“A search operation is being carried out around the beach until now,” he told reporters here today.

The operation led by Mohd Akmal Hussin is still ongoing and will be updated from time to time.
