Kerian-“The Raise the Jalur Gemilang” campaign was held by the Kerian District Council (MDK) to enliven the celebration of independence month.
The event took place at Flag Square, on the premises of MDK Wisma, during the company’s monthly gatherings with the staff.
The program commenced with spirited renditions of the national anthem ‘Negaraku,’ the state anthem of Perak, and the official anthem of the Kerian District Council.
Subsequently, the Jalur Gemilang was hoisted on the vehicles of the staff members by the MDK Chairman, Helmi Yusof@Jusoh, and all department heads.
This program aimed to instill pure values of love for the country among the employees of MDK, fostering a sense of patriotism and loyalty to the nation.
In conjunction with this celebration, MDK also calls upon the residents of the Kerian district to join together in hoisting the Jalur Gemilang at their respective premises, to imbue a sense of pride and appreciation for the country’s independence.
