The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Perak held their auspiciously numbered 111th Anniversary Dinner, on August 24 at the Weil Hotel in Ipoh.
Throughout its over a century of service, MICCI Perak has played a pivotal role in shaping policies and initiatives that impact both the workforce and the broader business landscape. They have been instrumental in advocating for business-friendly policies that have spurned Perak to greater economic prosperity.
Making a speech at the event was Yang Berhormat (YB) Tuan V. Sivakumar, Minister of Human Resources, who iterated the points above, as well as speaking on the importance of constant improvement, such as through reskilling and upskilling.
Distinguished attendees included Chairman of the Tourism, Industry, Investment & Corridor Development Committee of the Perak State Government, Yang Berhormat (YB) Loh Sze Yee, the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin, President of MICCI, Yang Berusaha Miss Christina Tee Kim Chin, MICCI Perak Branch Chairman, Yang Berusaha Mr. Jean-Francois Chaveriat and Committee Member Dato’ Lim Si Boon.
This event marked a significant occasion in celebrating MICCI Perak’s continued dedication to fostering economic prosperity and collaboration.
